Choral Art Society of the South Shore will present its fourth annual South Shore Summer Sings program in July and August, at First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate. We invite all to come and be the chorus! Just like Messiah sings in December, the audience is the chorus. You are welcome to sing along or just listen. 7:30-8:30pm, Monday, July 15th, – Messiah Choruses - Choruses (and a few sing along solos) from Handel's Messiah 7:30-8:30pm, Monday, August 12 – Opera, Operetta, and Broadway Choruses - Verdi, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan, and more! Choral Art Society of the South Shore is a non-auditioned community chorus founded in 1958, dedicated to the performance of all genres of choral music, from Renaissance to contemporary. We promote Creativity, Inspiration, Joy and Service through the performance of choral music. Tickets for the summer sing alongs are available at the door and are $10 regular admission/$9 for seniors and students. For the July sing, please bring a Messiah score if you have one. A limited number will be available for rent for $2. For the August sing, all music will be provided. Light refreshments are provided.
