    Should We Do This Play?

A series of staged readings that will culminate in a fully stage production (We hope!) How does it work? We will produce 3 staged readings over three Mondays in July. Next season we will produce one of the three 3 plays. But we're indecisive. Help us decide which play to produce!

    JULY 1ST
GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES by Rajiv Joseph
Two eight-year-olds’ lives collide in the nurse’s office: Doug rode his bike off the roof and Kayleen can’t stop throwing up. As they mature from accident-prone kids to self-destructive adults, their broken hearts and broken bones draw them ever closer.

    JULY 8TH
EXIT PURSUED BY A BEAR by Lauren Gunderson
Nan decides its finally time to leave her abusive husband Kyle and make a run for it, so she duct-tapes him to a recliner, covers him in honey and invites the neighborhood bear in for a snack.

    JULY 15TH
    BACHELORETTE by Leslye Headland
Ten years out of high school three bachelorettes gather to celebrate their frenemy’s wedding. They’ve got a purse full of pills, a tub full of champagne, and enough regret to last a lifetime.

Readings directed by Brian C. Fahey
Staged directions read by Hillary Mackay-Smith
