Rhythm of the Universe was created by Emir Cerman in the spring of 2010 with the idea of uniting musicians from all over the world to collaborate and promote unity through music and music education. With its first project, Rhythm of the Universe brought together musicians from 78 countries in one room to write lyrics for one song.
After writing, they recorded it with a growing group of 90 musicians from 90 countries and named the song “Anthem For The World,” which was premiered in Boston’s Symphony hall alongside Grammy award winner Alan Silvestri. Since then, Rhythm of the Universe has performed at events such as the Massachusetts Remembers 9/11 Concert, The World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and TedX Boston. At Outside The Box, Rhythm of the Universe will be presenting its biggest show to date: an 80 minute, 150 piece ensemble called “Welcome to Earth”, full of stunning visual effects and music from all over the world. "Welcome to Earth" celebrates mankind and takes you on a journey through various musical cultures of the planet, from the roots of African rhythms to the energy of South America and the spiritual sounds of Asia.
