Fresh off his fifth appearance on Conan, Shane is about to record his first one hour special before heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland to do a month run of his solo show at the world's largest arts festival. Originally from La Crosse, WI, Shane Mauss moved to Boston in 2004 (at the tender age of 23) to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a standup comedian. In less than three years, Shane caught his big break when he was awarded Best Standup Comic at HBO's US Comedy Arts Festival in 2007. Since puberty Shane has wondered: why are relationships so complicated? Why do we bother? And why God, why are we all so damn horny!? Still awaiting answers, Shane recently began studying evolutionary theory to explain our desires, attractions, and mating behaviors. He then turned what he found into jokes. Ironically, Shane began telling dick jokes so he wouldn't have to go to college and now attends college to write more sophisticated dick jokes. Don't miss Shane as he heads back to Boston, his spiritual comedy home for an incredible night of Stand-up and erudite dick jokes!
