    Floorlords Crew

In 1998, dance crew the Floorlords developed the concept of a theatrical stage production that involves dance styles ranging from African, merengue, salsa, tap and jazz combined with Capoiera and other martial art forms to depict a full and diverse performance. All this, coupled with the five elements of hip-hop (DJing, MCing, Graffitti, Beatboxing and B Boying/B Girling), has morphed into the two-hour stage performance known as "Floorlore, The History of Hip Hop". First performed to a sold out audience at Northeastern University's Blackman Theater, it is still selling out theaters and colleges around the country. The Floorlords crew has even created an entertainment company, The Floorlord Movement, which organizes events and performs at community centers, concerts, nightclubs and schools across the nation.
