Symphony Nova presents a woodwind quintet performance of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. Come listen as our quintet and narrator bring to life the story of Peter, and all of the furry friends that he encounters on his adventure with the wolf!
Two 30-minute shows will take place on Georges Island, one of the Boston Harbor Islands, on the stage inside Fort Warren, as part of their weekly Plays in the Park program. Free admission.
Friday, August 16, 2013: 11:45am-12:15pm and 1:30pm-2:00pm
This program is especially good for families with children.
Directions: Ferry to Georges Island-- During the summer season, park ferries depart frequently from Long Wharf, Boston; Fore River Shipyard in Quincy; Hingham Shipyard; and Pemberton Point, Hull. We suggest arriving at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure to allow time for ticketing and boarding. Regular ferry fees apply.
