    Two Teutonic Titans - Mendelssohn & Wagner

    The Boston Civic Symphony, Max Hobart, conductor presents the music of two musical titans; Mendelssohn and Wagner, in celebration of his Centennial, at NEC's Jordan Hall in Boston. Thirteen year old violin prodigy Ilana Zaks will be the soloist, performing Mendelssohn's Concerto in E Minor. Also on the program will be the "Hebrides" Overture, and Wagner's Suite from "Gotterdammerung - Siegfried's Rhine Journey," and Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg" Suite.
