Winner of the 2011 Avery Fisher Career Grant, pianist Benjamin Hochman performs with symphonies around the world--from Chicago to Prague, Houston to Canada—and in many national and international festivals such as Marlboro, Ravinia, Caramoor, Santa Fe, Lucerne, Spoleto, and Verbier. Hochman is hailed as “a major artist [of] substance over flash, poetry over spectacle” (Sequenza 21).
