Todd Wolfe Band
August 26, 2013
Former Sheryl Crow guitarist Todd Wolfe and Band Return to The USA! The Todd Wolfe Band recall the days when “men were men and amps were amps”, real tubes crackling with a “bluesdelic” sound reminiscent of the best rock and roll bands of the 60’s and 70’s! This band with Roger Voss on drums and the stunning Justine Gardner on bass jams and rocks but their music is deeply soaked in blues. Todd and his band mates, Roger Voss on drums and Justine Gardner on bass, return from their Forty Three Show European Tour only to head back out for a seven week tour through the Midwest, Canada and stops on the West Coast! They are back in North America this summer in time for Todd’s eighth release “Miles To Go” since his guitar-strumming, co-writing days with Sheryl Crow and an extensive tour that takes Todd and his band through Heartland America, Canada and the West Coast to promote the new album, “Miles To Go” on American Showplace Music!....... Todd Wolfe is the consummate performer that brings everything he has out into his shows. He began his career in 1979 and since then has played with some of the very best in the business. When Sheryl Crow was looking for a touring band, she approached Todd, because she needed a lead guitarist that could add some extra excitement to the live shows. He filled that role nicely. He eventually went on to form several bands, including a talented bunch dubbed MojoSon that were signed to A & M Records and included alumni of Sheryl’s band along with alumni of Sun 60 and Five for Fighting. With parent companiesswapping ownership of A & M Records, the MojoSon album sadly was never released. Always active, always playing, Todd has never slowed down. Todd has had many excellent partnerships with fine musicians from coast to coast. Todd has also worked asa duet with famed Mountain guitarist Leslie West, touring and recording on two of Leslie’s solo albums as well as recording on Mountain’s tribute to Bob Dylan, “Masters of War” album!
