    An Evening About “Transcending Boundaries”

Join the Library and young artists from Artists for Humanity for a program that celebrates the power of public art and exhibit design as vehicles for global interaction.

In creating the Transcending Boundaries exhibit, youth from Artists for Humanity and Library staff drew inspiration from the Library’s longstanding Mapparium exhibit and from contemporary approaches to designing museum experiences.

A keynote speaker and the Artists for Humanity youth discuss creating participatory art on social themes and how Transcending Boundaries speaks to today’s world. The evening offers opportunities to contribute to the exhibit and other artistic adventures.
