This istallment of BMV’s Annual Family Concert proudly continues the tradition of fosterng and performing great new music for all ages. Michael Gandolfi’s Pinocchio, a familyfavorite oft performed across the country, tells a lesser-known tale of adventure and lessons learned from the iconic children’s book that was passed over in the Walt Disney film. Kathryn Salfelder, a student of Gandolfi with a burgeoning career, rounds out the program with a new work based on Nathaniel Hawthorne’s version of the classic King Midas story for BMV, narrator and PALS Children’s Chorus.
