Harvard Treasures Tour: Harvard Theatre Collection

Continuing this year’s focus on American Art, History, and Culture, this Harvard Treasures tour takes you to Harvard’s expansive Theatre Collection, the ?rst collection of its kind, started in 1901 by Professor George Pierce Baker. This documentary collection focused on the performing arts includes rare books, manuscripts, letters, contracts and documents, musical scores, original costume designs, and much more.
Participation is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Harvard Treasures is a members-only series that explores the university’s architectural riches and art holdings beyond the Harvard Art Museums.
