In Conversation with Scott Burnham and Renée Loth: Reimagining Urban Infrastructure in Boston
Presented by Boston Society of Architects/AIA
September 18, 2013
What are some of the key themes emerging in the field of reuse and reimagining of urban infrastructure around the world? What are the best examples? What can Boston learn from other cities that are doing this? Join Scott Burnham, creator of Reprogramming the City, and Renée Loth, editor of ArchitectureBoston and Boston Globe columnist, for an evening of candid discussion and insight into the themes, ideas, and best practices emerging from the exhibition. Burnham and Loth will discuss the new spirit of creativity that is emerging around the world as existing urban infrastructure is being redesigned, repurposed, and reimagined to serve alternate functions in the mechanism of the city. This event will include behind-the-scenes information and explore the inspiration for this groundbreaking exhibition. The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Conversation 9/18” in the subject line.
