The Art of Rug Making-Workshop II

Rug making is one of a kind art form that has barely changed in over 2,000 years. Hand-woven with intricate detail, guests will be astonished at the expertise of this process from hand-spun wool to traditional color preparation. This cultural experience offers guests a rare glimpse into the world of rug-making, with a showing of the acclaimed documentary Colors of India followed by a Q&A with experts from Dover.

One-of-a-kind rugs will be displayed in the Gallery for viewing and guests will also partake in traditional Indian food, beverage and music.

All guests also receive a free rug appraisal-compliments of Dover Rug & Home- as well as a $100 Dover Rug & Home gift certificate, good towards a purchase of $1,000 or more and a chance to win a beautiful hand-knotted rug!
