25th Boston Jewish Film Festival - Where We Grew Up

Three Jewish siblings — a brother, and two sisters — reconnect, after years of separation, at a Paris funeral for their mother. Soon, they are feuding about religious traditions and what to do with their parents’ apartment. Each of them grieves in the oddest ways, and the abandoned flat becomes the locus of their hilarious obsessions and neuroses. A family drama, directed by Paris-born actress cum director Idit Cébula, that is entertaining, bittersweet, and wise.
