The success of Ottmar Liebert's groundbreaking 1990 debut album Nouveau Flamenco, including the single "Barcelona Nights," catapulted him to the top of Billboard's new age chart and took the world by storm. With more than 25 recordings under his belt (the most recent being 2012's Dune), Liebert has created a vast catalog, all bearing his supremely passionate compositional style- mixing sensual melodies with pan-Latin rhythms, The German born guitarist has been nominated five times for a Grammy, and his records have gone on to reach platinum and multi- platinum sales. Along with his group Luna Negra, Liebert has carved a unique space in instrumental new age music, while redefining what most think of as flamenco.
