The Seraphim Singers presents: Heavenly Light

Hanukkah and the Easter Vigil are yearly reminders that light has long represented the presence of God. This Candlemas-themed concert under the direction of Jennifer Lester presents works evoking the image of light, including a world premiere by Boston composer Richard J. Clark, Julian Wachner’s "At the Lighting of the Lamps," and works by Holst, Rachmaninoff, Palestrina, and more. Featuring Youth pro Musica (Robert Barney, director), Heinrich Christensen (organ), and Tim Macri (flute).
