    KIRA SEAMON'S Performing Arts POTPOURRI

As one of the most successful and popular dancer/choreographers in New England (she now has over 150,000 total views of her artistic works including her blogs, websites, films, videos, books and photographs), award-winning ballerina Kira Seamon is pleased to announce her newest 1-Woman Concert! PERFORMING ARTS POTPOURRI will be a visually stunning blend of dance, music, poetry and photography!! A "potpourri" can be defined as a collection of different things, and that is exactly what master performance artist Kira Seamon is excited to share with her audience! Usually Kira presents one theme during her concerts, but she is excited to debut this new concert format of an array of themes to explore and enjoy. Kira Seamon won 51 CONTEST WINNER AWARDS and 16 RECOGNTION AWARDS in 3 different INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITIONS in 31 PHOTOGRAPHIC CATEGORIES. This concert will feature a seasonally appropriate section on Winter Landscapes and the beauty of snow and ice. Accompanying her award-winning WINTER NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY will be music from the Snow Scene in Tchaikovsky's NUTCRACKER. This promises to be both very calming and serenely meditative and visually stunning. The rest of the concert will feature Kira's award-winning photos from a couple of photographic categories, namely REFLECTIONS, SHADOWS and LIGHT & SHADE. The image used to accompany this ArtsBoston listing was a COMPETITION WINNER in the SHADOW and LIGHT & SHADE CATEGORY in 2 different INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITIONS. It is entitled: "SELF PORTRAIT". Many artists create self portraits. As a ballerina, her medium is photography and she noticed this amazing shadow of her legs while she was dancing in the studio. The effect of the sunlight on her legs gives an illusion of a dancer 10 feet tall!
