    Kira Seamon's SHOWER of FLOWERS!!

As one of the most successful and popular dancer/choreographers in New England (she now has over 150,000 total views of her artistic works including her blogs, websites, films, videos, books and photographs), award-winning ballerina Kira Seamon is pleased to announce her newest 1-Woman Concert! SHOWER of FLOWERS will be a Spring Flower Show and MAY DAY Celebration all-in-one!! This sprightly and festive combination of dance, poetry, music and nature photography will brighten and add sparkle to the Spring Performing Arts Calendar! Kira lost her beloved Mother recently. This concert was originally scheduled for Mother's Day Weekend, however, Kira now would like to celebrate that holiday privately and instead, moved this concert (and its format) to a MAY DAY CELEBRATION. Kira takes joy in the knowledge that she had discussed this concert in depth with her Mother for quite a long time before her tragic passing. She wants to honor all those great conversations she had with her Mom where she shared all her ideas for this amazing concert and is looking forward to performing. A veritable bouquet of flowers will be represented including flowers from the trees and plants of cherries, magnolias, daffodils, forsythia, scilla, tulips, grape hyacinth, hyacinth, apples, apricots, hibiscus, pansy, peony, iris, roses, hydrangea, rhododendron, wisteria, azalea, dogwoods, crab apple, lily-of-the-valley, snow drops, chestnut, lilacs, lilies, petunias AND SO MUCH MORE!!!!!!! The music of Tchaikovsky's gorgeous "Waltz of the Flowers", from his NUTCRACKER, (liberated here at this concert from its usual lone annual appearance during the Holidays) will literally make these photos of beautiful blossoms at their peak, dance and come alive!!! This glorious celebration of flora will be sure to brighten and cheer everyone!
