Join us this winter for a warm bowl of soup, lively conversation and four powerfully moving documentary films exploring themes of climate change, cultural survival, sustainable agriculture and the interdependence of the human and animal worlds. Harvard’s own Chef Paul will prepare delicious, hearty soups that will warm the body as we consider important questions that are raised in our spotlight films. We encourage you to stay after the screenings to discuss key points in each documentary and share your thoughts about the featured stories.

We Still Live Here - Âs Nutayuneân
The story of the first time a language with no native speakers has been revived in this country. After recurring dreams of people of another time addressing her in an incomprehensible language, Jessie Little Doe and members of the Aquinnah and Mashpee Wampanoag communities embarked on an odyssey that would uncover hundreds of documents written in their ancestral language and result in something that had never been done before – bringing a language alive again in an American Indian community.
