    Boston Baroque: Monteverdi's

    In a new performing version by Music Director Martin Pearlman, this semi-staged production will feature the U.S. debut of Portuguese tenor and baroque specialist Fernando Guimarães in the title role, and the internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Jennifer Rivera as his loving wife Penelope.

    Staged by acclaimed director Mark Streshinsky, they are joined by a stellar cast of today’s most sought after singers in the opera and Baroque music scene. This production is supported in part by the Boston Baroque Opera Guild, and will be followed by a professional recording under the Linn Records label.

    Admission Info:

    Tickets range from $35 to $95. Student rush is available 90 min before the opera for $10. Senior rush is available for $20 and 30 under 30 tickets are $30 and can be purchased 90 min before the opera
