Tune In: 1960s Dance Party w/ DJ Jim Clerkin + Joslyn Fox!
Presented by Go Out Loud at Peabody Essex Museum
April 17, 2014
#GoOutLoud is partnering with the Peabody Essex Museum for a groovy dance party in tribute to the over-the-top icons of the boob tube! Come dressed as your favorite 1960s sitcom character or styled in your favorite look from the era to fashion off in Corey Banda's far out photo booth for a chance to win prizes!
Spinning swinging records from the sixties mixed with dance hits from today, will be the one and only DJ Jim Clerkin (Kiss 108 Radio, Evolution 101.7) with performances by Joslyn Fox (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6) and other gender bending appearances including The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!
Galleries will be open, including featured exhibition 'California Design, 1930-1965: Living in a Modern Way'. Enjoy the cash bar and explore the museum to discover TV trivia, outrageous paper doll making and a real Air Stream on display!
