     Explore the beauty, function, and technological potential of solar lights through a series of discussions with MIT scientists and 2014 McDermott Award recipient Olafur Eliasson. Learn why design is a critical element when developing a functional lamp for global users. Delve into research that will improve materials for capturing and storing solar energy for lighting use, and brainstorm ways of creating solar lighting with flexible materials such as textiles and paper.
