    The Boston Early Music Festival is universally recognized as a leader in the field of early music.  Founded in 1980 by leaders in historical performance, the BEMF has promoted early music through a variety of programs, including an annual concert series in Boston and New York, and the biennial week-long Festival which is recognized as “the world’s leading festival of early music” (The Times, London). With an international reputation for groundbreaking work reviving Baroque masterpieces, the Boston Early Music Festival Chamber Ensemble presents From the Pleasure Gardens of Europe: Eighteenth-century orchestral music to delight and entertain
