A Midsummer Night's Dream
April 17 - April 20, 2014
William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is coming to Harvard's campus!
"Lord What Fools These Mortals Be..."
It's 1999 in sunny Southern California, and as Athens prepares for an illustrious wedding, Hermia and Lysander steal into the forest to elope. Demetrius and Helena follow, entangling the four in a web of obsession and rejection. Unbeknownst to the lovers, the forest has become a hotbed of hedonistic raves. The lovers soon become pawns in a battle of wills between the ravers' Fairy King Oberon and her Queen Titania. Hilarity, mischief, love, and lust abound in this raucous re-imaging of Shakespeare's classic tale.
