BSA Space Fim Series: Power to the Pedals: Wenzday Jane and the Culture of Change

BSA Space presents the Boston premiere of Power to the Pedals: Wenzday Jane and the Culture of Change, a 30-minute film narrating the story of Wenzday Jane, the business mind behind Boston’s cargo bike business, Metro Pedal Power. A self-taught inventor and entrepreneur, Wenzday discovered the bicycle as a route out of poverty while growing up in public housing in Cambridge. The film portrays her extraordinary journey as she discovers what it takes to build a thriving company by addressing a fundamental urban challenge: how to lower the carbon footprint of our transportation system.

The screening will be followed by a discussion, moderated by  Bob Nesson, director of Power to the Pedals, and featuring local thought leaders Wenzday Jane; Jackie Douglas, executive director of LivableStreets Alliance; and John Siemiatkoski, Board of the League of American Bicyclists.
