This delightful trio from New York City specializes in the late Renaissance and early Baroque–a pivotal period in which instrumental music came into its own. The group (two baroque violins, lute, guitar, & voice) explores the new sorts of instrumental music as well as the vocal and dance traditions from which they sprang, with a mission to bring out the joy, excitement, and sheer ingenuity of this music.
