    Cosmic Journey

Presented by and Museum of Science, Boston

    May 30 - June 1, 2014

    Cosmic Journey

The final concert in BCE's 2013/14 season is entitled "Cosmic Journey" and comprises a number of pieces related to the heavens and celestial bodies ranging from Zvonimir Nagy's setting of the latin text Pax aeterna to Trond Kverno's setting of the Ave Maris Stella. It will also feature the extraordinary Lux Aeterna by György Ligeti (popularized by the movie 2001: A space odyssey) and ?riks Ešenvalds Stars for double choir and tuned water glasses. We are honored and delighted that these concerts will be held in the Hayden Planetarium in Boston's Science Museum and will include a spectacular visual depiction of the music. Tickets for this event are only available through the BCE web site. Please note space is limited, so book early.
