    In the wilds of India, a young boy named Mowgli is raised by wolves to obey the laws of the jungle. After surviving close encounters with the tiger Shere Kahn, Mowgli is finally returned to his mother. He tries to learn the ways of Mankind, and is especially curious about the glowing fire, which he calls “the red flower.” When Shere Kahn threatens to defeat Akela the Wolf to become Lord of the Jungle, Mowgli must return to the wild to save his animal family. Will he make it in time? Find out in this classic adventure story featuring appearances by Baloo the Bear, Hathi the Elephant, and two outrageous monkeys!

    Puppet Showplace Theater is conveniently located directly across the street from the Brookline Village T stop on the Green Riverside "D" Line.  Parking is nearby at meters on the street (free after 6 PM) or in the parking garage at Brookline Place on Route 9 (on the other side of the subway tracks).
