    The Pennies, The Wednesdays

The Pennies’ music is called “Americana”, which means that they play country, folk, rock and blues. . They became a band in 2006. There are four of them and they play ten instruments: electric guitar, acoustic guitars, upright bass, drums, harmonica, accordion, trumpet, ukuleles, banjo, and piano. Everyone sings but Caroline is the best so she sings the most.

The Pennies write their own songs and they also sing songs written by other people. The songs are about love, heartbreak, the moon, trains, quarries, the devil, disasters, ghosts, the weather, and the undead.
