South Shore Conservatory (SSC) announces the lineup for the 2014 Summer Spotlight outdoor concert series in the Jane Carr Amphitheater at One Conservatory Drive in Hingham. Summer Spotlight includes the popular Evenings Under the Stars Saturday evening concerts, Wacky Wednesdays family concerts, and Berklee Stars at SSC Friday night concerts.
Wednesday mornings will never be the same with Wacky Wednesdays family concerts, starting with musical entertainer Ben Rudnick and Friends on July 2! Boston-based children’s singer-songwriter Vanessa Trien returns to the Wacky Wednesdays stage on July 9. On July 16, Stacey Peasley combines her love of children and music into a lively act that engages kids and creates memorable and fun sing-along songs. Bari Koral shares her catchy, pop-friendly tunes in an interactive live show on July 23. The final Wacky Wednesdays concert features an interactive program of vocal and instrumental music with Little Groove on July 30.
Evenings Under the Stars tickets purchased before the day of the concert are $35 for pavilion and $20 for lawn seating. Lawn tickets purchased at the door are $25 for EUS concerts. Tickets for Wacky Wednesdays family concerts are $15 adult and $5 children. Tickets for the Berklee Stars at SSC concerts are $10. Season subscriptions to the four Saturday evening concerts are available for $185 for pavilion and $132 for lawn seating and include the pre-concert receptions. South Shore Conservatory, recently recognized as a national model for arts education by the National Guild for Community Arts Education, is celebrating nearly 45 years of enriching the lives of South Shore residents through music and the arts.
