    Harborwalk Sounds: Sarah McKenzie

Australian pianist, vocalist, and composer Sarah McKenzie has already won wide recognition for her individualistic voice and skillful phrasing. She’s sung backing vocals for Michael Bublé on the multiplatinum artist’s Call Me Irresponsible tour and was the opening act for five-time Grammy nominee Chris Botti in 2011. Her second album, Close Your Eyes, won the ARIA award for Best Jazz Album 2012. Berklee’s dean of admissions offered her a full scholarship after seeing her perform at the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy.
