    Summer Starlight: An Evening with Marsha Stephanie Blake

    Cape Rep is honored to have accomplished theater, film and television actor Marsha Stephanie Blake one night only for an exclusive performance followed by an audience discussion in the intimate 130-seat theater on Monday, August 4 at 6:00pm.  Summer Starlight guests will enjoy a traditional Cape Cod garden party starting at 6:00pm complete with jazz music by the Alan Clinger Trio, freshly shucked oysters by Impudent Oyster, hearty hors d’oeuvres by PB Boulangerie Bistro and flowing beverages provided by Friends’ Marketplace. A silent auction will feature some rare and amazing items for bid. The highlight of the evening will be a short performance featuring Marsha Stephanie Blake followed by an audience discussion with the actor moderated by Jackie Bruno, anchor/reporter for New England Cable News (NECN). The evening will conclude with a champagne and dessert reception under the stars.

    Marsha Stephanie Blake's film and television credits include Stand Clear of the Closing Doors (Best Feature Jury Award, Tribeca 2013), Django Unchained, The Architect, "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU", "The Big C", "ElemeNtarY" and Hannah's publisher Lyndrea in HBO's "Girls." She will play Berdalia Rogers in the upcoming Season 3 of "Orange Is The New Black."

    She has appeared on Broadway as Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino and Lily Rabe, in The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Laura Linney, and Joe Turner's Come and Gone for which she was given the Paul Green Award by Tony Kushner. Her Off-Broadway credits include An Octoroon and Marie Antoinette at Soho Rep, Luck of the Irish at LCT3, Hurt Village (for which she won an Audelco Award) and Queens Boulevard at Signature Theatre, This Beautiful City at The Vineyard, and Aunt Dan and Lemon with The New Group

    Tickets are available through the Cape Rep Theatre box office by calling 508-896-1888 or at Seating is limited. Tickets are $130 for preferred seating, $110 for general seating and $90 for Cape Rep member preferred seating.
