GET UP, STAND UP! A Multimedia Reggae Concert Experience

Reggae music was hewn from the turbulent cold war politics of the 1970’s from which the cry of the downtrodden and forgotten peoples of Jamaica were expressed through this powerful musical art form. Bob Marley was able to synthesize this cry for justice, equality and love into a universal message that continues to resonate across the globe as a reassuring beacon of truth. Today, as human-kind grapples with critical issues of climate change and extreme economic inequality, music can and must play a critical role in helping to effect transformative changes in mind, body, soul and society! Join us for a multimedia reggae experience with a powerful set of Marley’s music followed by an equally powerful set of contemporary reggae…all with a POSITIVE VIBRATION!  Featuring Matt Jenson and the Liquid Revolution and the Berklee College of Music Bob Marley Ensemble.
