    24-Hour ChoreoFest Concerts

The 24-Hour ChoreoFest is more than a festival, it is an opportunity for Boston’s diverse and varied choreographers to unite through an equally shared experience, while pushing each other to their personal limits, and to create new work.

Join us for year three of this crazy overnight event, showcasing Boston’s bravest choreographers and companies at the Dance Complex, Cambridge MA. This all-night festival begins 8pm Friday, August 8th, with a live video feed of the creative process unfolding online overnight for the community's viewing pleasure. Public performances featuring the new works will take place the following day on Saturday, August 9 at 2pm and 4pm. ALL ticket sale profits are put towards developing and running community outreach arts programs for Greater Boston youth.

2014 Participants include Monkeyhouse, Lipstick Criminals, the Tropigals, Stefanie D. Belnavis, Luminarium Dance and Moving Target. This year's participants embody a thrilling variety of styles ranging from burlesque to Vaudeville, and contemporary to Jamaican folk dance! As a new twist this year, Moving Target (led by Sarah Mae Gibbons) will participate in the festival as the Community Wild Card, letting any interested dancer come be a part of their group and new piece.
