This is our ONLY concert this season, not to be missed! For its musical, energetic, and emotional performances, the orchestra has received rave reviews from the Boston Musical Intelligencer and from the public. Comprised of graduate music students and young professionals, the FCO is a valuable addition to Boston's rich orchestral culture, and features talented composers, singers, and instrumentalists. In this program, Albanian cellist Edevaldo Mulla, who studied at the Boston Conservatory, shines in Tchaikovsky's colorful Variations on a Rococo Theme. Composer Jakov Jakoulov, born and trained in Moscow, is performed internationally. Grace Allendorf, a local talent who sings convincingly and with superb intonation, will perform exquisite French repertoire. She was also featured in our St. Matthew Passion in 2012.
We look forward to greeting you on Sunday, September 21st in the spacious and beautiful sanctuary of Old South Church (right in Copley Square), easily accessible with both the Green and Orange Lines!
