Under Milk Wood: A Centennial Celebration

The historic Poets’ Theatre celebrates its return with a gala celebration in honor of the Dylan Thomas Centennial. Under Milk Wood, Thomas’ magical piece about the inhabitants of a tiny Welsh fishing village, had its world premiere at The Poets’ Theatre in 1953. We proudly present this historic work again in a star-studded concert version to celebrate TPT’s return to the stages of our city. A cast of major Boston actors, poets, and personalities will perform this hilarious, moving, and unforgettable classic. It’s sure to be one of the most memorable events of the season.

With Cherry Jones, Christopher Lydon, Thomas Derrah, Alvin Epstein, Benjamin Evett, Erica Funkhouser, David Gullette, Karen MacDonald, Aidan Parkinson, Lloyd Schwartz, Lawrence Senelick. Directed by Bob Scanlan.
