Hey la-dey-la, Group is back! That’s right, after a year of diligent writing, Group returns with another knockout production. This year we deliver Grade-A Group: three nights of our exciting short plays, as well as two performances of a full-length play. Group members include: Cynthia Arsenault, Ray Arsenault, Joshua Faigen, Kim Holliday, David Houlden, Michael Kimball and Kathleen Miller.
Take a gander at our menu:
It’s the morning after in Cynthia Arsenault’s "Booze Cruise Blues." Two partiers, still fried from the night before, awake to discover they are alone, unmoored, and drifting out to sea.
"It’s My Wonderful Life," a monologue by Cynthia, coddles up to those xeroxed Christmas letters we get from friends who want to tell us about their perfect lives.
In "Houston" by Michael Kimball two astronauts get a sunny-side-up look at privatization.
In Michael’s "Disagreement at Dead Boot Saloon" there’s gun control in the old wild west. Some hard-boiled types settle their differences without bullets.
In Kathleen Miller’s "Pumpkin" a woman visits her parents for Halloween but gets bedeviled by what she discovers.
Roger opens his door to a stranger in Ray Arsenault’s "Forward Flash" and reality gets flipped over - easy and often.
There’s trouble with costumes in Ray’s "Just a Party." A couple about to leave for a Halloween party scrambles to hash things out.
