      The last time I saw Blue Man Group was probably about 20 years ago, when I lived in NYC. The current show in Boston has quite a bit of content from the old show, as well as some updated content (e.g., giant iPhones, called "Gi-Pads"). I took my sons, ages 7 and 10, and they loved it! The only thing that detracted from the experience was that our seats were in the balcony and had obstructed view of the stage because of the railings. Because so much of the show involves reading text that is displayed onstage, that was a bit aggravating. If you go, be sure to get seats downstairs. Collapse

      I was hesitant to spend so much money on BMG because I believed that it must be an overhyped show. Since I was able to get a good discount on BosTix, however, I decided to purchase tickets for our family of four. It was a great decision - my girls, ages 12 and 15, were rolling with laughter and my husband and I had a great time too. The performance was creative, stylish, and had just enough infantile humor to keep us very, very entertained. I highly recommend - don't be skeptical - see the show! Collapse

But I thought their schtick went on too long without enough variety. The IPOD thing was boring and there was too much gross "throwing up." If it were a bit more variety, with more of their trademark interesting music/instrumentation, I'd go again, in a second. But for now, they left a bad taste in my mouth. And a big dent in my wallet. However, I wanted to be more interactive but sitting in the side mezzanine section didn't allow me. The orchestra peope had the most fun. I wish there were more stuff flying out a people. The Blue Cell phones should tell people it's OK to get up out of your seat and "Shake Your Bootie!" That would have added to the FUN! Our most recent trip to the show had me in stitches, there were new additions to the mayhem and I don't want to give too much away, but I will quote my daughter when I asked her what she thought of the new bits, "My cheek hurts from being so funny."       This is our second time seeing "Tubes" & once again, it was extremely entertaining and fun! The show has something for every age group and its "Blue" look at human beings leaves you chuckling at how bizarre we really are. The audience participation is great and the music/band is superb. The Blue Men are skilled performers and create such a bond with the audience that you want to take them home with you (despite how messy they are)at the end of the show. Don't miss it if you're looking for relief from the usual or non-medical treatment for depression and anxiety. Highly recommended by repeat visitors. Collapse

Bostix had 2 locations but more importantly, tickets could be bought online. Once the tickets are purchased, they are available at the theatre at will call. The experience could not be any easier or customer friendly. As for the show, it was extremely entertaining. As a matter of fact time went fast during the show and we left very pleased with the entire experience. Collapse

I walked into your theater and had to use my rescue inhaler. It was very musty and dusty. I'm not sure how you can remediate that, but I can't go back to that theater again. Collapse

They raved about it and insisted on staying afterwards for photographs with the Blue Men and the band. Kudos to the Blue Men and band for staying after the show and being so patient to stand for photos with everyone who asked for pictures! My wife and I have been to the show before and were taken with the subtle changes made to the show setting it apart from just a repeat for us. We will definitely go again! It was a great night out. We highly recommend it for parents (or grandparents) who want a truly all generation show that will win you points with the younger generation and give you some "you are really a little cool after all!" The current show in Boston has quite a bit of content from the old show, as well as some updated content (e.g., giant iPhones, called "Gi-Pads"). I took my sons, ages 7 and 10, and they loved it! The only thing that detracted from the experience was that our seats were in the balcony and had obstructed view of the stage because of the railings. Because so much of the show involves reading text that is displayed onstage, that was a bit aggravating. If you go, be sure to get seats downstairs. Collapse

Since I was able to get a good discount on BosTix, however, I decided to purchase tickets for our family of four. It was a great decision - my girls, ages 12 and 15, were rolling with laughter and my husband and I had a great time too. The performance was creative, stylish, and had just enough infantile humor to keep us very, very entertained. I highly recommend - don't be skeptical - see the show! Collapse

The show has something for every age group and its "Blue" look at human beings leaves you chuckling at how bizarre we really are. The audience participation is great and the music/band is superb. The Blue Men are skilled performers and create such a bond with the audience that you want to take them home with you (despite how messy they are)at the end of the show. Don't miss it if you're looking for relief from the usual or non-medical treatment for depression and anxiety. Highly recommended by repeat visitors. Collapse

      My wife and I were visiting Boston. We had heard about the "Blue Man Group" show and wanted to see it without paying full price. Bostix had 2 locations but more importantly, tickets could be bought online. Once the tickets are purchased, they are available at the theatre at will call. The experience could not be any easier or customer friendly. As for the show, it was extremely entertaining. I walked into your theater and had to use my rescue inhaler. It was very musty and dusty. I'm not sure how you can remediate that, but I can't go back to that theater again. Collapse

They raved about it and insisted on staying afterwards for photographs with the Blue Men and the band. Kudos to the Blue Men and band for staying after the show and being so patient to stand for photos with everyone who asked for pictures! My wife and I have been to the show before and were taken with the subtle changes made to the show setting it apart from just a repeat for us. We will definitely go again! It was a great night out. We highly recommend it for parents (or grandparents) who want a truly all generation show that will win you points with the younger generation and give you some "you are really a little cool after all!"
