THE AWESOME 80S PROM is a brand new blast-from-the-past interactive show in the style of Tony 'n Tina's Wedding and The Donkey Show set at Wanaget High's Senior Prom . . . in 1989! All your favorite characters from your favorite '80s movies are at THE PROM, from the Captain of the Football Team to the Asian Exchange Student, from the Geek to the hottie Head Cheerleader, and they're all competing for Prom King and Queen. And just like on "American Idol", the audience decides who wins, all while moonwalkin'  to retro hits like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!" Come "Back In Time", to quote a Huey Lewis tune, and join the breakdance circle or just stand back and watch the '80s drama unfold. Come on, you know you have a Members Only jacket somewhere. If you're lucky, you'll even get to dance with the Captain of the Football Team. . . and this time, you don't have a curfew.

      Concept interesting...few venues for true 80s music fans anymore. Should be primarily billed as 80s music retrospective...show should be either beefed up or cast reduced. Admission cost did not seem... Expand

      We went to the play (loose interpretation) expecting at least some scenes to be played out by the cast-1/2 hour into the Play? no scenes had been played out-just a bunch of cast members on floor... Expand

      We went to the play (loose interpretation) expecting at least some scenes to be played out by the cast-1/2 hour into the Play? no scenes had been played out-just a bunch of cast members on floor trying to get audience to get up and dance or sing. I took my mother for birthday (84th) and this is not at all what we expected. We had previously seen sheer Madness and were expecting something like this-The venue of play had been moved and unfortunately as we were trying to leave and not disturb the cast, my 84 year old mother fell due to no lighting or warning being over a big drop down from one area to another. Bruised arm and some scrapes but no thanks to site she is okay except for being shaken up. Thank goodness she fell on the side that her hip replacement was not on. Some lighting or warning of drop should have been on that step. Unfortunately it was a waste of our money-happy birthday mom Collapse
