    Steve's newest CD, titled "The Place and the Time" was released March 2009 to impressive reviews: "All prime Steve Forbert who's writing at his best." - Huffington Post. With his second album Jackrabbit Slim, the public and critics took notice of Steve Forbert as the album generated raves and radio hits with "Say Goodbye to Little Jo" and the top 10 single "Romeo's Tune." With picturesque lyrics and a rough-hewn voice, Forbert quickly joined the ranks of singer-songwriters to be tagged with the "new Dylan" label. But Steve's real gift is a talent for penning direct, heartfelt narratives. With special guest Mark Stepakoff
