A double bill from David Mamet, dealing with male relationships early and late in life, parables on sex and aging. The Duck Variations presents George and Emil, two elderly friends, sitting on a lakeshore bench watching ducks and telling tales. Their conversation skirts around the issues of friendship and the fear of being alone. Their younger counterparts in Sexual Perversity make feeble attempts at romantic relationships that threaten their own friendship.

I really enjoyed Duck. Great humor and truths. Sexual perversity was well acted, but not my taste. Thought the theatre in the round worked well for the space. Loved the cabaret seating.
