    Walking Tour of Beacon Hill

    From the golden dome of the State House to the elegant homes of Louisburg Square, the Beacon Hill tour offers examples of America's first professional architect Charles Bulfinch and his followers.Learn the story of Beacon Hill, from its rural beginnings to its transformation following the vision of the Mount Vernon Proprietors. This National Historic District offers a wonderful collection of Federal townhouses. Boston By Foot's Beacon Hill walking tour is an introduction to early American architecture. You will also hear the stories of the prominent Bostonians who have called Beacon Hill their home.

    Boston By Foot offers tours from May through October, rain or shine. No reservations are required, just show up and pay your guide!
