Linda Murray’s tree exhibit “Root Works”, is a must see for nature loving Bostonians this summer. The Hunnewell Visitor’s Center at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum will be the setting for “Root Works”. These ethereal paintings in watercolor, mixed media and graphite capture the hushed feeling of a deep forest where delicate moss creeps at the base of tree trunks and exposed roots reveal fantastical figures that kindle the imagination. “Root Works” will be on display at the Arnold Arboretum from June 13th through July 26th.

      I had the pleasure of taking in the work by artist Linda Murray during the opening week and I LOVED it! The tremendous energy and perspective she has infused her works with made viewing them... Expand

The tremendous energy and perspective she has infused her works with made viewing them special.I look forward to coming back to view them again and hope that when I return from my business trip that some savvy admirer of her work hasn't already purchased the paintings that I intend to invest in.
