An endearing crowd of characters cross paths in ways that reveal the joy and anguish of life in Jean-Claude Gallotta’s dance-theatre work Des gens qui dansent, performing Gallotta’s quirky, idiosyncratic style with a welcoming energy. This U.S. premiere, performed to a host of spoken word narratives, will mark Groupe Emile Dubois’ first American engagement in two decades.
