Art on the Green at The Pinehills

Art on the Green – an art exhibit and sale featuring more than 70 local and regional artists showcasing their paintings, sculptures, jewelry, wearable art and more! Art on the Green is an outdoor festival on The Village Green at The Pinehills complete with steel drum music and food available from Café Olio. The steel drum band “Magic of Steel” will be performing from 11am – 3pm. Also, as part of Art on the Green this year, The Pinehills will offer the public the first chance in decades to view the work of one of modern photography’s leading pioneers, Lucien Aigner. The New York Times has called him, “The Master of the Picture Story,” and Aigner’s photos of Albert Einstein, Benito Mussolini, Winston Churchill, Norman Rockwell and so many others are truly the stuff of legends. Aigner’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Museum of Modern Art; The International Center for Photography; the George Eastman House; the Polaroid Collection; and The French National Library among many others.
