    Presented by at Barrington Stage

    June 17 - July 11, 2009

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece Carousel tells the bittersweet love story between the carnival barker roustabout Billy Bigelow and the naïve young mill worker Julie Jordan. The glorious score includes “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Carousel, with its flawless blend of song and scenes, was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s favorite score. Join us and see why The Boston Globe called Carousel “as close to perfection as musical theatre gets” and Time Magazine chose it as the “Best Musical of the Twentieth Century."
