The award-winning British theater company Punchdrunk makes its U.S. debut with Sleep No More, an immersive production inspired by Shakespeare’s Macbeth, told through the lens of a Hitchcock thriller. An extraordinary, unexpected location will be exquisitely transformed into an installation of cinematic scenes that evoke the world of Macbeth. The audience will have the freedom to roam the environment and experience a sensory journey as they choose what to watch and where to go in this unique theatrical adventure.

      This was by far the most amazing theatrical experience of my life. I will go again and again as long as it is still around. What a trip. Don't be frightened -- I was at first, but then relaxed into it and enjoyed myself 100x more! They WILL NOT hurt you!! Collapse

      My 18-year old daughter and I stumbled on this performance while in Boston and it was unlike anything we've ever seen. Once inside the Old Lincoln School you're transported into a dark and quite twisted world with a surprise behind every door. The quality of the sets and performances was quite high. You simply must give up on figuring out a linear plot and give yourself over to the immersive experience that is Sleep No More. What a bargain for 3+ hours of theatre. I would easily have paid twice the ticket price. Definitely a show that leaves you thinking and wanting to come back and do it again. Collapse

      I went Saturday night and I'm going again this week and prolly next as well. It is the most exciting interactive performance theatre I have ever experienced. I'm going back for many reasons; I missed rooms the first time, I want to look at the sets/rooms in more detail (they are exquisite) and it's just so incredible...multiple floors, multiple rooms/sets, action taking place in many places at once...just brilliant! And the speakeasy, The Manderley, was a real treat with a live jazz trio and two incredibly talented singers. Absolutely the best avante garde theatre, full stop. Kudos to the new ART director!       Terrifically conceived and brilliantly executed with music that matched the mood and rocked. I didn't expect the level of sensory stimulation - temperatures, smells, textures and FABULOUS... Expand

      Terrifically conceived and brilliantly executed with music that matched the mood and rocked. I didn't expect the level of sensory stimulation - temperatures, smells, textures and FABULOUS choreography that was well executed. Some scenes are unforgettable. My partner had a great time (and was initially reluctant to attend). We went off in different directions and had different experiences and it was great fun to compare notes in the lounge at the end. Great care is taken so guests feel comfortable. A really memorable theatrical experience - I'd love to see it again and catch performances I missed because I was busy enjoying other ones. Take yourself, take a group. You won't be sorry. Collapse
