    News and Independent Filmmaking in the Digital Age presented by the Woods Hole Film Festival

    Features a discussion at 7:30 PM about how the Internet is changing the way newspapers report news stories and the kinds of stories documentary filmmakers are telling lead by Globalpost.com founder and former Boston Globe Middle East Bureau Chief Charles Sennott and filmmaker Beth Murphy ("Beyond Belief"). Preceded by a reception with the speakers at 6:00 PM at Quick’s Hole Restaurant (6 Luscombe Avenue) sponsored by the Woods Hole Inn. Murphy will also show clips from and discuss her upcoming documentary, "The Promise of Freedom," an expose on the long-term consequences suffered by Iraqi citizens who risked everything to work for the U.S.-led occupation.
