Mary Sherman's first solo show with the Boston Sculptor's Gallery is "Mechanical Universe: Nocturne", a sculptural installation that plays on Whistler's series of paintings called "Nocturnes". Ellen Wetmore's installation, "the Joys of Motherhood", is a set of darkly comedic figurative sculptures that explore the pregnant possibilities of the maternal body.
